Metabolic Health
Metabolic Conditions
High cholesterol, obesity, Type 2 Diabetes, prediabetes, and related metabolic conditions. Each case is reviewed individually by a licensed clinician to determine whether an LMN is appropriate.

Which diagnoses qualify for review
Metabolic conditions affect how the body produces, uses, and stores energy. When diagnosed, these conditions may qualify for a Letter of Medical Necessity documenting that a specific product or service is medically recommended, making eligible care potentially reimbursable through an HSA or FSA.

The Review Process
A licensed clinician reviews your diagnosed condition, health history, and the specific support you're seeking. When clinically appropriate, the clinician may issue an LMN documenting the recommendation.
See how review works →A Letter of Medical Necessity is issued only when a licensed clinician determines it is clinically appropriate for a diagnosed condition. It is never guaranteed. Acceptance of documentation for HSA/FSA purposes is always the plan administrator’s decision.
